Ranger Uranium Mine. Once there was an uproar in the local media accussing this mine of dumping radioactive water. The responsible government minister, in the typical Territorian cowboy style, went to the release pond with reporters in tow. While the cameras are rolling, he took a full glass of clear water from the pond and drank it. That settled the matter.
