To be able to walk on this sea floor, you must time your visit to within three hours before and after the day's low tide.



The powerful tidal action, twice daily, began to carve away the bases, leading to the creation of numerous sea caves, and most noteworthy the world famous Flowerpot Rocks.



The award-winning Hopewell Rocks has been described as the icon of New Brunswick's Great Outdoors.











To fully appreciate the magnitude of this tidal phenomena, visitors should plan to view both high and low tides (we did not!).
